Front of House
The service philosophy at WEST END deli is to provide polished and professional service with a bit of personality thrown into the mix! We endeavour to build relationships with our customers and to in turn provide them with a standard of service that is comparable to the best restaurants around. We hope that whenever you enter West End deli, you are immediately greeted by a sense of belonging, whether it’s your first visit or you come in every day.
West End deli is undergoing a few changes with our on going renovations and liquor license application.
Alice Muller has taken on the very important role as the venue manager, with her, she brings a wealth of experience and some exciting new ideas to the West End deli family. Alice has spent the last 18 months at Clarences Bar in Mount Lawley and has played a big role in making it one of Perth’s most popular venues. Alice is passionate about food, wine and travel and aspires to have her own venue in the next few years.
Assisting in the running of front of house is West End deli’s resident funny man Mick Davey who has been with the team since July ’10. If you come in regularly during the day then you’ll know who we mean. Not only does he provide great service but he won’t let you leave without cracking a smile. Also assisting us is Laura Faris. She has a confident, outgoing and friendly demeanor. Laura too, is a hospitality professional, leaving Bistro Felix in Subiaco to join the West End family in April ’11.
“I watch as my waiter glides across the room as if he were dancing a ballroom solo. It’s truly magical to observe. He waltzes around the coffee counter as if it were a competitor on a dance-floor and quicksteps around the barista to grab my flat white. This is my first introduction to Mick, the suave headwaiter at West End Deli, and it’s pretty good.” -Weekend Notes
West End deli is also lucky to have a great team of casual staff members who will always endeavour to make your experience unforgettable!
